Constant Changes With Akademiks
The urban community is a community that revolves around constant change. These changes are made by those whom are acquainted with style and fashion. Constantly providing a new trend of the freshest fashion and style that will approve to the taste of the urban community for street fashion, and the akademiks clothing lines collection are the only kind of clothing line that provides that.
The akademiks clothing line is an American brand of urban clothing line highly respected by the loyal devotees of the hip hop music. Its founders are none other than the brothers Donwan Harrell and Emmet Harrell. The brothers Harrell are famous of designers of clothing lines and accessories.
Donwan Harrell is a founder of the New York-based urban clothing company, akademiks. He is also one of the former top 10 designers at Nike. Under akademiks, Harrell has introduced PRPS jeans, a line of “super-premium” denim, much like his brother Emmet Harrell.
Now for those that doesn’t know about the PRPS jeans is. The PRPS jeans are created by akademiks, a New York-based clothing company founded in partnership by a former top Nike designer, Donwan Harrell. PRPS jeans are manufactured in Japan, unlike other jeans which are mostly manufactured in China. The Japanese manufacturer of the jeans uses looms from the 1960s similar to the type that were used to produce denim for Levi’s.
The name akademiks is an intentional misspelling of the word academics. The name akademiks is spelled akademiks on many of the company’s garments. Also it is sometimes spelled AKS for abbreviation.
